Trader joes buys out the rights to make there own generic versions of gourmet and health foods. You can find some good deals on Veg items.
Trader joes does carry some variety of Vegan options but is geared more towards gourmet foods than healthy foods. Several locations in San Diego county. The hillcrest location is off university next to Ralph's. |

I am so proud of the buyers at Trader Joes! They pay cash one manager told me to keep prices down. They work hard to keep organics in the store. And they do a good job of keeping the critical organics in house. Critical like bell peppers and peaches (normally very toxic). I can get about 75% of my organics there. The employees are usually attractive and are often very nice. Long lines and crowding account for the 4.5 stars. |
