I have now been to most of the vegitarian restaurants in San Diego and can easily say this is the WORST!! Not only was the service bad as noted by a previous reviewer, but the food left so much to be desired. If you want good Mexican Veg Cuisine, go to Pokez downtown where both the service and food are better.

cary	We love this place - great atmosphere. While we find the service is usually less than impressive, the food and ambience really do ake up for it. We are fast becoming fonder of the North Park location - love the service there.

My boyfriend and I frequent Rancho's due to the healthy classic mexican cuisine. However with each visit comes comments like, 'They are so slow,' 'my drink has been empty for 25 minutes,' we have had dirty plates on our table for 40 minutes,' 'where's the check' the list goes on and on. Tonight (2-21-06) we waited 15 minutes to be seated and even acknowledged by a staff person, by that point we decided to leave. It was 5 pm on a tuesday evening with only two tables in the restaurant. This is unacceptable. We have decided not to go back due to the lack of service.
